Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships - 2025 call open

The Higher Education Authority (HEA) is pleased to announce the 2025 call under the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships Programme.

The programme is funded by the Government of Ireland in partnership with Irish higher education institutions (HEIs) and managed by the Higher Education Authority. Under the initiative, 60 scholarships are awarded each year for one year of full-time study at NFQ levels 9 or 10 (master’s, postgraduate diploma or PhD).

The offer is open to students from non-EU/EEA countries and is applicable to all fields of study.

Successful candidates will receive:

• A €10,000 stipend for one year of full-time study,
• A full fee waiver to the awardees for the year of their scholarship.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 05 March 2025.
