Norwegian Irish Society
The Norwegian Irish Society aims to provide a focal point for Irish culture in Norway and a central source of information for Irish residents.
Operating since 2009, their events have now become staples on the Irish Diaspora calendar in Norway.
The main events hosted by the society are the annual St Patrick’s and Family Fleadh Day, and the children's Halloween party.
Emigrant Support Programme support ensures that ticket costs don’t prohibit anyone from attending - creating inclusive events that help foster young Irish children in Norway with a sense of their Irish identity.
Furthermore, these events are an important opportunity for outreach, networking, and engagement with the young Irish families in the greater Oslo area.
