From literary greats across the ages, to Irish traditional music, dance and performances that have reverberated across the world, Irish artists have always had a reputation for breaking boundaries.

Weaving the collective story and experiences of the Irish, Zeitgeist Irland 24 brings a new generation of Irish artists to German audiences, continuing to break boundaries and build on our global reputation for cultural excellence.

Zeitgeist Irland 24 was launched in March 2023 by Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Micheál Martin and Minister for Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, Catherine Martin with a €2 million joint investment in a season of Irish arts and culture in Germany.

Zeitgeist Irland 24 ist ein großes Fest des Reichtums und der Vielfalt der zeitgenössischen irischen Kultur. Von literarischen Großmeistern aus allen Epochen bis hin zu traditioneller irischer Musik, Tanz und Performances, die in der ganzen Welt Resonanz gefunden haben, waren irische Künstler schon immer dafür bekannt, Grenzen zu überschreiten.
Zeitgeist Irland 24 bringt eine neue Generation von irischen Künstlern nach Deutschland, die die gemeinsame Geschichte und die Erfahrungen der Iren miteinander verknüpfen, weiterhin Grenzen überschreiten und auf unserem weltweiten Ruf für kulturelle Exzellenz aufbauen.
