Visit to Expo by Minister Charlie McConalogue

Charlie McConalogue, Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, visited Expo 2020 Dubai from 13-17 February. This visit was part of a major trade mission to the UAE, including participation at Gulffood. The Minister hosted a series of events including a reception for Gulfood clients at the pavilion on 13 February, in conjunction with Bord Bia.
Minister McConalogue delivered the keynote address at a panel discussion on Sustainable Food Systems in Ireland hosted by Bord Bia. To conclude his visit to Expo, the Minister participated in the World Majlis discussion on Food for Thought as part of Food, Agriculture and Livelihoods theme week commencing the 17th of February.
