UCD School of History hosts Into Europe – reflections on 50 years
The UCD school of history hosted an EU50 conference, which sought to reflect on Ireland’s 50 years of membership
The event was opened by Prof William Mulligan, head of the School of History.
Speakers included Minister of State for European Affairs, Thomas Byrne TD; a panel of academics ranging across History, Politics, Law and Cultural Studies and the Norwegian Ambassador Mari Skäre as well as former Irish Ambassador to the EU, Rory Montgomery.
