Bloomsday in Atlanta

Ireland's Consulate in Atlanta has two Bloomsday initiatives this year.

We are supporting the North American premiere of Dermot Bolger’s play ‘Ulysses’, an adaptation of Joyce’s novel for the stage. The play, staged by Arís Theatre, will run from 16 to 26 June in Atlanta’s 7 Stages theatre.

Theatregoers will be welcome to pick up a free copy of ‘Dubliners’ at the theatre, while stocks last, as part of the Global Book Giveaway.

We have partnered with independent bookstore Buxton Books in Charleston, South Carolina for a book giveaway on 16 June and while stocks last. Copies of Ulysses will be available for readers who stop by.
